Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced, precise, and reliable Measuring Technician to join our team for a projects across Australia. As a Measuring Technician you will play a crucial role in the installation of our cutting-edge racking systems, ensuring accuracy, quality workmanship, and adherence to specifications. We are looking for a solution-oriented professional committed to excellence in every aspect of their work.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in installation operations in a similar industry
- Relevant trade qualification (or equivalent work experience)
- Full driving licence, White Card, HRW Licences
- Working at Heights, scissor lift and forklift highly desirable
Tasks & responsibilities
- Daily recording of measurements and completed section checklists.
- Ensuring the correct measuring equipment is coordinated with the Project Manager before the start of the project, and throughout
- Adhering to predefined company standards and norms according to the prepared methodology including procedures of the assigned project and FEM standards
- Leading and evaluating Junior Measuring Technicians
- Delegating the work of assigned Installers necessary for the measurement performance
- Responsibility for the assigned work tools and measuring equipment
- Learning assembly sequences for the assigned project
- Supporting the Site Supervisor to maintain order and adherence with work being performed and Health & Safety requirements
- Reporting all non-standard situations, and improvements measures to the Site Supervisor
